Chomp & Stomp is a non-profit event benefiting the parks & green spaces of Cabbagetown, Atlanta. Our food truck vendors play a big role in keeping our festival-goers fed & happy beyond the chili cook-off, so thank you for your interest in our event! We look forward to welcoming back old friends and new deliciousness!

New for 2023!

Applications to Chomp this year will not guarantee a space! This is in response to vendor feedback, and to increase vendor diversity. Applications will be reviewed and accepted until the festival is full or the deadline is reached.


DEADLINES AND PROCESS

  • Deadlines
    • Early: September 16th
    • Regular: October 7th
  • Applications will be reviewed on September 16th and October 7th.
    • Additional details and invoices will be sent to those that are accepted at that time.
  • We reserve the right to close applications prior to the deadline for capacity or other reasons; we also reserve the right to reject any application.

COST

  • 10×10 space: $600 Early / $700 Regular
  • 10×20 space: $1000 Early / $1100 Regular
  • 10×30 space: $1150 Early / $1250 Regular
  • Carts: $350 Early / $425 Regular
  • Electricity: $100

OTHER INFO

  • Chomp and Stomp is rain or shine, and no refunds will be given for cancellation or weather.
  • Refund policy: Refunds of 50% will only be provided for Early applicants up to October 7th.
  • No Vendor may sell alcohol. We do encourage zero-proof vendors.
  • All food service must conform to Fulton County Health Department or Georgia Department of Agriculture rules and is subject to inspection prior to and during the event.
  • All tents and trucks are subject to safety inspection by Atlanta Fire Rescue for appropriate materials and fire extinguishers. The City of Atlanta festival ordinance requires that your tent must be certified as flame-proof. Please refer to Article IV, Sec. 142-42(e) of the Atlanta Municipal Code.
  • No compressors or generators will be allowed.
  • Late load-ins (arrivals after 10 AM) are not allowed, no exceptions. Latecomers will be turned away by our logistics team/APD and no refund shall be given.
  • We will make every effort to provide parking during the festival, but due to the neighborhood’s size, we cannot guarantee parking in a designated lot.

IMPORTANT LEGAL TERMS (Read carefully!)

  • Insurance: Each participant must be insured and have proof of minimum $1MM General Liability Coverage. Additionally, each Vendor must produce a Certificate of Insurance. Participation is not allowed without such certification.
  • Waiver of Liability and Indemnification: We have a wonderful crew of volunteers to assist with vendor management. By submitting an application, you agree to indemnify, release and forever discharge and hold harmless (to the extent permitted by law) Chomp and Stomp volunteers, staff, crew, or any volunteers, staff, or assignees of the Cabbagetown Initiative Community Development Corporation (hereafter CICDC) from and against any and all demands, claims, liabilities, suits, causes of action, judgments, damages, losses, penalties, and/or expenses of any kind or nature whatsoever, including attorneys’ fees, arising, directly or indirectly, from any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death or property damage which arise or may hereafter arise as a vendor at the Chomp and Stomp. Vendor agrees, acknowledges and further certifies that the Vendor and Vendor’s property, equipment, and vehicles are properly insured for any and all losses incurred, and or damages caused by Vendor to any other party.
  • No Agency, Joint Venture, or Partnership Created: The Vendor is an independent operator, and through this agreement no agency, partnership or joint venture relationship is created with the CICDC. The Vendor, it’s owners, employees, or other agents shall not represent themselves as representatives of Chomp and Stomp. Vendor shall not enter into any contract or other agreement which would cause the CICDC to be liable in any way with any other party, including, but not limited to, manufacturers, Vendors or other suppliers, etc. Vendor shall hold CICDC harmless from any cost or any other liability it may incur with the production of merchandise.
  • No Financial Guarantee: The CICDC makes no representation nor guarantees regarding actual festival attendance, nor makes any representation of potential financial success or failure.
  • No liability arising from COVID-19: We must say the following, and it must look like this due to state law. For the purposes of this agreement, “premises” is defined as the boundaries of the festival as noted on the festival map. Any person entering the premises waives all civil liability against this premises owner and operator for any injuries caused by the inherent risk associated with contracting COVID-19 at public gatherings, except for gross negligence, willful and wanton misconduct, reckless infliction of harm, or intentional infliction of harm, by the individual or entity of the premises.
