Romp & Stomp 5k Run

One of the most popular races in Atlanta, Romp and Stomp 5k kicks off the Cabbagetown Chomp and Stomp Chili Cookoff and Bluegrass Festival. This race features a fast, flat course through historic Cabbagetown that is great for first timers or those chasing a PR. All participants receive an awesome T-shirt and a free chili tasting spoon for the Chomp and Stomp Chili and Bluegrass Festival later that day.

The proceeds from the Romp and Stomp 5k benefit the non-profit organization maintaining the neighborhood’s two beautiful parks and community center: the Cabbagetown Initiative CDC. Families from all over Intown Atlanta enjoy the fun, clean and safe environment these parks provide.

There is no race day registration! This race has sold out the last 20 years and we expect it to sell out in 2025. Sign up early for the best price and t-shirt sizing!
